   We are located on Hampton Creek in Hampton, Virginia. Our company, which is in its fourth generation of family operation, has been in business for over fifty years here at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. Old Point Comfort with its Lighthouse on Fort Monroe is only a stone's throw from our plant and we have chosen that name to identify our brand of crabmeat. This ideal location enables us to process fresh crabs on a year round basis. In the winter, crabs travel to the deep water at the mouth of the bay where they bury themselves in the mud and go into a state of
dormancy. During this period of several months no crabs are caught in the traditional crab pots but may be harvested by dredging for them. Hampton is the homeport for more than half of the Chesapeake Bay fleet capable of dredging.
 
   Crabs are delivered to us by boat daily. Within an hour of their arrival they are washed and cooked. They are then picked, cleaned, weighed and packed, all within strict time limits to ensure absolute freshness.
 
   With three shifts of handpicking operations and two machine processors we are one of the largest and we feel, the finest crab processing plants in the industry. We are proud of our reputation and continually strive to provide the best product and the utmost in service.
